Rules of Play

  1. VBingo programs available for play:
    • Mondays & Tuesdays Evenings - 8-page program played at 6:30 pm (colors of the pages are Page 1(Blue) Page 2 (Orange) Page 3 (Green) Page 4 (Yellow) Page 5 (Pink) Page 6 (Grey) Page 7 (Lime) and Page 8 (Brown); and
    • Friday late night - 5-page program played at 10:30 pm (booklet color is all purple pages and are labeled Series 1-5.
  2. VBingo is only offered on paper cards.
  3. The card prices are as follows:
    • 6-up regular games’ booklet - $14
    • 9-up regular games’ booklet- $21
    • Double Action (1-up) - $2
    • Odd/Even (1-up) - $2
  4. VBingo Regular game payouts will be set to the column determined by regular game sales. Payouts will be set when the regular program begins.
  5. The minimum payout for the regular games will be $20.
  6. VBingo cards for home play to be purchased and picked up in the hall are available for pre-sales 7 days in advance of the scheduled event.
  7. In hall card presales for VBingo events are available Mondays and Tuesdays from 11am – 6pm and Wednesday – Sunday 11 am – 9 pm.
  8. Video bingo cards sales for play-at-home must end 30 minutes before the start of the event.
  9. Bingo card(s) are recorded and sold for a specific date.
  10. All cards will be stamped/marked with Winners Bingo or Lethbridge Community Bingo Association and the date of the event that the card will be played on.
  11. Mondays and Tuesdays 6:15 pm and Fridays @ 10:15 pm the Caller and Chairperson will show the balls to the players at home to verify that there are 75 bingo balls in the machine and that there are no duplicate balls. Once verified the caller will drop the balls and draw a number for the Odd/Even Game.
  12. Games must be won in the order of the program, however if there are multiple games on one page and a player has bingo on the games not being played yet they can call bingo as soon as the caller announces the game. No additional number needs to be called.
  13. $25 door prize will be awarded at each VBingo event. All players will be given a double-sided theater style ticket. A ticket will be drawn by a club member right before the intermission break begins.
  14. Bonus Prizes may be offered on regular games.
  15. If a late bingo is declared on a game involving a consolation prize, players must wait for the caller to announce the consolation game before the bingo can be verified; another number does not have to be called.
  16. There will be no discounts on VBingo cards.
  17. For at home players where cards were purchased in hall the player will have 10 days to claim their prize from the bingo hall. To collect payment, players are required to bring in their winning card(s) and their receipt. Photo ID may be required.
  18. Scanned bingo card(s) can’t be separated, the whole sheet must be returned. Altering and/or splitting or cutting bingo cards is prohibited. Any prizes won on altered cards will not be honored.
  19. VBingo game prizes for in-hall card purchases will be paid in cash. All Progressive Pot payouts will be paid by cheque.
  20. Prior to receiving any prize payment, winning cards will be verified by hall staff.
  21. Prizes not claimed within the 10-day period will be forfeited.
  22. Special Games
    • Prize payout for special games will be divided evenly amongst all verified winners.
    DOUBLE ACTION GAME (PROGRESSIVE)
    • Cards will cost $2.00 each for a 1-Up.
    • Played every VBingo event just before the Intermission break.
    • There are 2 numbers in each square, if either number is called mark the entire square (both numbers are not required to be called to mark the square). The game is played to a Blackout.
    • This game will have one combined pot for all VBingo Events.
    • The event prize will be 50% of sales and 10% of sales to the Progressive Pot for a total prize payout of 60%.
    • The pot will be capped at $2,000.00.
    • Players must declare bingo and have a valid Full Card Bingo to be awarded the Progressive Pot. The number to be awarded the Progressive Pot will start at 32 numbers or less. If there is no bingo in the required numbers, play will continue for the Event Prize.
    • Once capped a second pot will begin and the number to win the capped pot will increase by 1 every week. Once the capped pot is awarded the number to win will revert back to 32 numbers or less.
    • The capped pot will be played off within 30 days.
    • An additional 60 second timer will be used when the pot is possible for the Progressive Pot. During the 60 second count down the caller will ask three (3) times if there are any bingos on the Progressive Pot and then close the Progressive Portion of the game.
    • At the Playoff event the Progressive Pot will be awarded to the first verified and valid bingo regardless of how many numbers have been called.
    • In all cases when the Progressive Pot is awarded, play will continue for the next Full Card for the Event Prize.
    ODD/EVEN GAME (PROGRESSIVE)
    • Cards will cost $2.00 each for a 1-Up.
    • Played every event just after the Intermission Break.
    • A ball will be generated from the Blower, and the caller will announce whether it is odd or even. Players will pre-mark their cards according to the number drawn (odd or even). The caller will call the remaining balance for the Progressive and Main Prize.
    • The game is played to a Blackout.
    • This game will have one combined pot for all VBingo Events.
    • The event prize will be 50% of sales and 10% of sales to the Progressive Pot for a total prize payout of 60%.
    • The pot will be capped at $2,000.00.

    • At the Playoff event the Progressive Pot will be awarded to the first verified and valid bingo regardless of how many numbers have been called.

  23. SCANNED CARDS
    • Players may request scanned cards.
    • Scanned cards for regular games are limited to 6-Up game booklets.
    • Players requesting scanned cards must have the ability to receive a 10MB attachment and must have the ability to print the cards for bingo play.
    • Scanned cards for the 8-page regular game booklet will have the card color printed on the face of the cards and/or on the scanned sheets. The page/series number will also be identified on the booklets.
    • Scanned Odd/Even game card page(s) will have the card color and O/E written on them.
  24. ORDERING SCANNED CARDS
    • Scanned cards can be ordered by calling 587- 425 -1090 or emailing winnersvbingo@gmail.com up to one hour prior to cut off for at home play card sales (5 pm on Monday and Tuesday and 9 pm on Fridays).
    • Scanned cards must be paid for by e-transfer. E-transfers will be sent to winnersvbingo@gmail.com.
    • Once payment has been confirmed the cards will be prepared as ordered, scanned and sent to the players provided email.
  25. GAME PRIZE PAYMENT OPTION FOR SCANNED CARDS
    • Lethbridge Community Bingo Association may provide the option of paying verified game prizes for players who have purchased bingo cards through the scanning option to be paid by e-transfers, where the prize is $250 or less.
    • At the time of purchase the player must indicate if they would like to have any winnings paid by e-transfer. If e-transfer is a selected method of payment, the email provided for the card order will be used.
    • Prior to receiving any prize payment, winning cards will be verified by hall staff.
    • E-transfer payments may take up to ten (10) days to process.
    • Players who select the scanned card option may go to the hall to pick up valid game prize payouts. To collect payment, players are required to bring in their scanned winning card(s) and their receipt. Photo ID is required.
    • All prize payout greater than $250 and all Progressive Pot wins must be paid in person at the hall within 10 days of the verified win. To collect payment, players are required to bring in their scanned winning card(s) and their receipt. Photo ID is required.
    • E-transfer confirmation numbers will be recorded on the player’s receipt.
  26. CANCELLED EVENTS
    • Card(s) not played due to technical difficulties experienced in the hall will result in a special scheduled time to play.
    • All cards issued for a cancelled event will be valid for a rescheduled event. Players will be advised when the rescheduled event will be held via the bingo hall website.
    • Any player that cannot participate in the rescheduled event will be given the opportunity to return their cards and their receipt for a refund before the newly scheduled event happens.
    • If an event is cancelled while in progress, a prorated partial refund will be offered for players that can’t complete the rescheduled program, provided the player returns their cards and receipts before the rescheduled event
  27. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
    • During the VBingo event, the Chairperson of the event will be responsible to address any complaints.
    • If the complaint cannot be resolved at the event level it will go to the Manager for review.
    • Players may contact AGLC Customer Care @ 1-800-561-4415 to report any complaints.

HOUSE RULES

  1. VBingo players are responsible for their own reception. If a player is unable to play due to their reception, stream, power outage, etc. a refund of cards will not be offered.
  2. AGLC code, color, and series number of each card must match the issuance for the event.
  3. VBingo cards are the players’ responsibility. Lost or damaged cards will not be replaced or refunded.
  4. There is no refund of cards that have not been played by the player.
  5. Players must be 18 years of age or older to play bingo and receive bingo prizes.
  6. Bingo cards are not transferable from player to player.
  7. The Caller will pause for a minimum of 30 seconds at the end of each game asking three (3) times if there are any other bingos, then the game will be closed.
  8. On Progressive Games when the caller reaches the criteria that the pot can be won, the caller will pause for 60 seconds to ensure the players have enough time to call in if they have a win.
  9. There will be an Intermission break halfway through the program.
